Description
his painting is based around the drawings of the polymath and inventor Ismail al Jazari. His particular style and devices make for an interesting interpretation of modern products.
The design features the phonetic alphabet and mysterious symbols to give the drawing of a simple steam iron a magical appearance. The work takes a playful, imaginative look at the modern world as it might have been seen by a medieval observer.
